When i played SR3 i missed the huge arsenal of technically accurate weapons of SR2. I've noticed the remaining ones was just one half because lazors and OP weapons like drone reaper or the George-Bush-missile-summoning thing (can't remember the name).
This approach was confirmed on SR4, whith a more reduced arsenal composed by 80% with lots of alien/wft weapons, but that was for coherence with the concept so it's ok.
I hope in SR gat out of etc we will not have ONLY /hilarious/WAT/kasjedasjhs/OP weapons like seen in early gameplay videos but also a decent part of serious, classical weapons (pretty more like SR2). Whit a DLC or just in the vanilla edition makes no difference.
Regarding the rest of what i saw in walkthroughs, i just loved the mood and the ambience and basically everything.
Just sayin' my opinion.
