Minigun glitch-Sound file error, I'm guessing..

Every time I run across a minigun brute and he fires, it crashes my game. I don't know what is causing this, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It still crashes. If anyone knows a fix to this, please let me know.
 
Never heard of it in any of the 5 or so SRTT forums I follow. Sounds like a pretty unique glitch to you.

Try disabling the additional sound features - I've had similar issues with my xonar dx.
 
ok, i found the source of my troubles.. I think.. If anyone can view the default files, can you verify this excerpt from my modded weapons folder, and make sure this is correct?


i deleted the excerpt but i fixed it.. cause F*** a minigun.. i don't care anymore.. so i took out this little bit <Inv_Slot>special</Inv_Slot> and effectively took the minigun out of the game
