Hahah, that is pretty. Ah, i'm a little busy with save editing at the moment. Extract weapons.xtbl and look for the ammo type used by the rocket, then copy it into the same field of the minigun. As for the video, they changed the vfx, visual effects. If that's in the weapons.xtbl file as well, you should be able to change it similarly (although i don't know the name of that effect offhand). If it's not there, i wouldn't know how to change it anyway.

It may be weapon_upgrades.xtbl that you need to look at. The gang pistol's ammo type changes on its fourth level to explosive bullets. Maybe you can change the ammo type to rockets, i don't know.
