Alright, so I'm new to modding, I know next to nothing about.
Pretty much the only thing I know is changing game pic texture files, so for example; a flag in a game, and change the picture on it to something else.
So if what I'm requesting impossible, or can't be done, or whatever it may be, than please do tell me as like I said, I don't know much about modding.
I had this idea for a different take on SR3, in which the gangs live in a zombie post-apocalyptic world, trying to survive.
And the only form of currency they have are woman (I know it's a retarded idea, but it's the only one I could think of when I went through and played the game)
And so these gangs are fighting over their form of money...... in a future that's messed up.
So I went and did a play through, of the game, having the zombie cheat on, and trying to beat all the missions, and have the game on hard mode (Or whatever they call it I can't remember).
And I must say, it's quite fun..... like doing trafficking is a lot more harder, as you have to protect your homie from the enemy gangs, as well as zombies.
And it's also fun just calling a homie, and driving around to different shops/properties, hoping out, running to go and buy it, while my home fight off the hoards of zombies.
And it's a complete mission to do something simple like buying guns.
And when I play through, it's also hard to find cars, so If I was lucky enough to find a car, and would have it to the end of my trip, and I would chuck it into my garage...... but if I took it out again, than I would delete it from my garage, to make things more realistic.
Which is why I was wondering whether you can change the character models, or texture files, or whatever you would call it, so for an example: One way to get a car, is to shoot a cop car, he drives up to you, hops out, you jump into his car, he gets messed up by zombies.
So I was wondering if it was possible to change that to say a different car, like a modded bulldog, which is people driving around for survivors, or raiders or something.
Also if it's possible to change the cops as well..... so their not cops.... if you know what I mean.
Like I said, if this is not at all possible, than please by all means, just tall me.
I even thought of the idea, in which the future is so messed up, that they have the game show, but instead of mascots, change them to zombies. (Kinda like Dead Rising 2
)
I thought of a whole lot more of ideas to go towards this main idea, but this post is getting quite long (And I apologize for that) so yeah.
Also, at the moment this is what my guy looks like...... going for the whole post-apocalyptic thing.
