MOD REQUEST: more music

This is something I want to do as well, but distributing the music is legally questionable. We might be able to make something to automatically extract SR2 tracks and move them to SRTT's format.

It's a shame that all the audio tracks from SR2 were terrible quality.

twas mostly what i was expecting, that or a way of playing your own music (i.e. mp3s) much as one of the fallout 3 mods achieved, which would be able to serve a similar purpouse

One of the very few things I miss about GTA is that you were able to grab whatever music you wanted and add it to a "custom" station that even had ads and stuff between songs of its own, that was fantastic.

It's sad that Volition doesn't seem to like that idea.

According to -V-, it hasn't been implemented because they can't find a good way to do it on all platforms.

A problem which Rockstar resolved by not doing it on all platform.

Only on our dear computers.
Yeah. Volition's reason seems more like an excuse to just don't bother trying it.

And now my dear EZZZY is gone too. I can't wait till GoS implements working custom music so I can grab all of EZZZY's playlist and import it to SR3 :D .

Ah, but they did video recording only on the Windows platform. Is audio playback more difficult? Well, i won't criticize them for what priorities they had to choose. All i'll say is that it'd be nice to use our own music. Support for a variety of formats would be best, but may not be possible depending on what the game engine can read.

Except their clip editor doesn't work fully yet ;)
