Mod Request: Speed Indicator

Hello!

Wondering if it is possible for someone to create a mod that shows up on the HUD, around the minimap possibly, that shows your current speed.

If this exists, could I get a link for it? I have not found this feature.

There are no functions I know of that could return a player's current speed. So, not possible at this time afaik.
