Mods not working ?

So I'm really confused because I read the read me files on these mods and followed the instructions but they do not work for me. On the [big bow (extra clothing) mod] and [customization and extra colors for cars and clothing mod], the game loads all the way still but no mods appear in game. On the opaque eyes mod, the game stops on the loading screen, doesn't say 'not responding' but just stays on the loading screen forever and at some times the loading music stops as well but not all the time. Saints row iv. Thank you anyone and everyone for you help kindly. I've applied a picture of the mod called opaque eyes and how i extracted it according the the read me file.

1) Your Signature picture is too large. Please make it smaller. Guidelines can be found within the Forum Terms of Service/Rules stickied at the top of the forum.

2) Download these tools http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/minimauls-saints-row-iv-tools.3188/
3) Run ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.Stream2Update.exe

This should fix your issue.

Okay I've tried the ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.Stream2Update.exe. It seems it shuts down/crashes before whatever it is doing is done. I've uploaded a picture of the message I got. I'm not sure should I have posted this part of the question here, or maybe in that thread about it.

Just a shot in the dark, but I think maybe this issue is being caused by your computer because it's pissed off at you for making it run that windows theme.

I suppose, maybe. That's quite an interesting way to look at it. Anyways, I was able to get the Opaque Eyes mod to work temporarily and then after I realized a few bugs in the game such as make-up not showing up and eyebrow colors not changing from black, I decided to reload the game and at that moment it would go to the loading screen again and just never load. Even left it running for about an hour.

If you were trying to run Stream2Update on its own, note that you need to extract the entire folder of tools and run it from within that. It depends on the .dll's and stuff that it comes with.

im having this mod issue to, i've put in all the mods in the right directory but once i get ingame they do not work.
i tried running the thomasjepp.steam2update.exe and it says i have no updates available.
any help is appreciated

This is because you haven't extracted the whole zip file. It needs all of the .dll files included in the zip file for it to work.
