Multiplayer Question

Hello, I came here because it seems like the best place to ask this. (I may stick around depending on my SR activity)

I don't know if you're aware of the mod for GTA:SA called SA:MP (San Andreas MultiPlayer). It's currently in version 0.3z and is fairly stable.

The concept of the mod is basically a platform that takes the GTA:SA map. And allows scripting abilities to create a server. There are RP servers, Freeroam servers and allsorts. I was wondering if such as mod exists for SR:TT, as I think in that form, SSTT would provide a great RP and freeroam map.

If not?

Is it actually possible, or has it just not been developed?

I don't know whether it's possible. I am not aware of anyone in the SR modding community who is capable of developing that sort of thing, and I have heard nothing about the JC2 or GTA folks taking an interest in it.

That would be awesome. SR would be better than GTA or JC especially for roleplay type servers since you have such a diverse looking group of players. That was one thing I disliked immediately about GTAIV and JC2 multiplayer. Not many visually diverse player characters.

Same with SA:MP you have 300 skins to pick from
