need help with "the fight before xmas"

every time i try to disable clawz's mechanical reindeer it keeps kicking me out of the disabling animation even when i hold the E key down!

i've tried it on both my male and female bosses and it does the same thing X(

is this a bug or is there any way around this?
 
It's because your framerate is extremely low. Usually sub 20fps. Try lowering resolution and/or graphic settings.
