New Steam Beta Feature Allows You to disable and enable dlc on any game

Don't know if I put this in the right area but steam has a new feature in the steam beta that allows you to disable and enable dlc on any game even that awful hated unlockable dlc on sr3.
I tried this feature just a couple mins and it works great any dlc I disable it doesn't unlock on the game it is like I never owned it best feature ever.

Very awesome feature! I came to post the same, since I immediately thought of SR:TT lol Though I would've liked a feature in-game, it's arguably better that Steam has a universal solution instead.

(Still have my fingers crossed for library organization options so I can put "Saints Row: The Third" before "Saints Row IV")

I sure hope steam keeps adding great useful features like this and I am to waiting for more library organization options as well.I mean this new feature its a dream feature I can't believe it actually works and all.Looks like the days of making sure nobody buys unlockable pack or blood sucker pack are over Idol Ninja and Fan of The Saints are probably in love with this :).

Edit:Idk how it would work on sr3 or sr4 if you disabled dlc and go play a game with it already unlocked probably get a missing dlc popup. But I do know it works when u start a new game.

Holy shit! That's awesome!

Yep, this is a feature that's long overdue, one that a lot of people asked for, exactly for games like SRTT where there is included DLC that is sometimes undesirable and no easy way to disable it. I am so going to use the hell out of that for a lot of games, not just SRTT. Borderlands 2 springs to mind.

Glad to hear it works so well. Generally when a new feature works well on the beta client it's maybe a few months before it gets pushed out to the main client, with very little fanfare. I remember when the option to turn on background downloads per each game was a beta-only option. I had the beta client installed maybe a month before suddenly everyone could do it.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to disable these exquisite visions o_O

Hah, no. Always liked having them in the gang customization options right off the bat. The default Saints are... bitchy is the only way to describe it. "Waaahh you're driving over too many cops." SILENCE, PEASANT!

This will be an absolute godsend for people who made the mistake of buying the Unlockable Pack though. The entirety of what the DLC does happens in the game's EXE, meaning there's no way to fix it without removing the DLC outright.

Awesome, now I don't have to put up with All plot choices from what-its-name DLC and for the first time I'll have a virgin playthrough of SRTT. I know it's weird to say that but I stand by it.

That would be the Unlockable Pack. It wouldn't be such a bad DLC if it triggered at the end of the appropriate mission, and it would actually be good if it triggered when you completed the game (minus the city takeover).
