No cutscene sounds

Neither ingame nor intro cutscenes play sound, no point trying the steam discussions at all. Anyone else encountered this?
 
Same here. Also, if the game is running and you try to play a youtube video of the cutscenes, you get no sound. Quit the game, hit play, and there's audio. You might want to see if it is the same for you. FYI, I have an Asus Xonar D1.
 
Oh I found a solution yesterday in a steam discussion thread, I had to disable all my playback devices besides the one I was using, then changed the default format to 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000Hz (DVD Quality) and haven't seen an audio issue since in 17 hours of playtime.
