No saints on the streets

Could anyone tell me how to remove all saints from the streets?

I already found a code called <Flag>No Enemy Gang Spawning</Flag>. This makes sure that no Morningstar, Luchadores or Deckers walk around in free roam. Is there any code like this which I can use to remove the Saints from free roam?

It can be annoying when I'm in a tense police shootout a bunch of purple wearing morons come and shoot all the enemies for me. Luckely I only have 2 fully completed neighbourhoods but I would like to only have Saints at my hideouts.
 
When you found Gang Spawning, Did you see anything that said "playas" That is the Saints gang when you edit there gun loadout and health in Spawninforanks.... Im sure it's the same there
 
It certainly does not go through spawn info ranks, as that only changes the rank of the npcs (weapons, hit points, knockdown points, bleed out hit points, team, etc). spawn_info_groups.xtbl might be an option, but that already breaks the game when you change the set of cars they drive in that file.
 
Yeah I know, I once edited the spawn_info_groups.xtbl but my game crashed so that was a no go. I could try again and LilWilly, thanks for the help but I know that the Saints Gangs are the 'playas'. Wasn't able to do anything with that yet.

I already did this: I changed some stuff in the character.xtbl and now there are no more Saints so huray! But now my cribs are empty as well :s I'm sure it is possible. I already tried with the flag 'law spawning zone' or something like that. It did make the Saints only spawn in the cribs but it also got rid of the traffic so I wasn't happy with that. Perhaps I should look further. I can also get myself a Save Editor and edit the gang zones so that in each district one zone belongs to another gang which makes the Saints not spawn on the streets as well. I'll look into it further but right now I'm already happy with not having any more Saints wandering around at every street corner.

I did make some other changes as well. In case I would need the Saints to help me out I can still call the Saints Backup from my mobile phone and I changed the zombie horde to another, more advanced Saints Backup :)

There are three options (probably even more if I think about it):

First option is no saints on the streets and no saints in the crib but a normal enviroment.

Second option is no saints on the streets but still saints in the crib but this makes all traffic and pedestrians dissapear.

The first option:

I replaced the saints character files from the character.xtbl with the lines from the Decker soldiers which made the Saints completely dissapear without any crash problems. Then I gave these characters the skins of the saints so that during mission they still show up properly and saints backup also should still work like it should.
If it doesn't well, I have done it again differently by replacing all space saints with the normal saints and then edited the homies.xtbl file to make the saints backup and others like vehicle delivery which require saints soldiers to spawn with space saints.

But thats already a long time ago as you can see ^^ I think it can be much easier done. I have seen a flag in the script line of the Saints characters which said 'Spawnable Saint', so maybe if we change that with 'Non Ambiently Spawnable' they will no longer spawn since all characters which don't randomly spawn on the streets use this flag.

The second option:

In the spawn_info_categories.xtbl file just add the flag '<Flag>Law Spawning Area</Flag>' in the flag section at each district. But like I said, with this flag their will be no traffic and pedestrains so I don't use this.

The third option:

I still need to try this out, but I would use a save game editor, perhaps the one from Corridas and give in each district one neighbourhood back to the enemy gangs, because to make Saints spawn on the street each neighbourhood from the specific district must be owned by the Saints. Do make a backup of you savegames offcoarse ;) If you don't want the enemy gangs to spawn in this enemy gang controlled zone just add the flag <Flag>No Enemy Gang Spawning</Flag> at each district in the spawn_info_categories.xtbl.

Perhaps I will upload mine but mine has some more side effects like no more gimps suits, strippers and mascots spawning in the streets (except for some saints energy drink mascots at the planet saints, etc... but I don't care about those), but I can always make a new one.

I've tried this out myself, and the third option as suggested by yorpie works, and is probably the best option to go with.

Thank you for trying it out, now I got conformation it works. And did it affect the % you completed the game? I have the game 100% completed, will this get lowered after applying the third option? I will try this out tommorow but I'm curious ;p

If I apply the ' No Enemy Gang Spawning' Flag, does it affect the survival call ?
If I get a survival call, and there are no enemies gang in the area, how can I finish the survival call ?

No Enemy Gang Spawing makes no random gang members and gang cars spawn. Mission related ones like the ones from the survival missions and gang operations remain and the gang notoriety still fully functions as it should.
