On music...

Gonna get this out of the way right here, right meow. I was kinda let down by the serious lack of metal. WTF mates? Sold out the metal crowd for better tracks? Really? Y'all put in practically nothing but dubstep and house music which should really be on the same station. Only difference I can tell is dubstep is crazier with the wubs and... I dunno, digital shit. Then your rock station is mostly light alternative. I just can't mass murder to Neon Trees.

That aside, I was hoping to hear "Thrift Shop" in the Planet Zin stores. Very let down (Again, better tracks? Really?). Lastly, I rediscovered Tiny Tim just now. "Living in the Sunlight" would have been great for the Genki challenges. How could you not commit genocide to a song that wacky, especially in a game like Saints Row?

Now for my big question. Whenever I play Saints Row IV, whether full screen, borderless, or windowed, the game blocks out any sound coming from any other programs like YouTube or Windows Media Player. How could I get to hear my own music instead?

Strange.... playing myslef in wondoewd mode, and my game didnt block music from WMP... ill do more checks today

It's a windows setting. I've found threads about it before and here's what a quick search netted me. Try this:

"Windows 7 has a new feature that when it thinks you’re communicating with someone, ie. voice chat in Online Games, it automatically reduces volume of all other applications by 80% as a default. You can change this by going to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Communications. You have the option to mute all other sounds, reduce the volume of all other sounds by 80%, reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%, or do nothing."
