opening a file from the cache?

when i open a file in the cache it looks really weird and i cant even see what it is all about an example: i open items.vpp_pc then the only stuff i see is like really difficult coded with all types of random letters and when i install a mod i get like perfectly looking files when i open them... how do i get those files from my game??? because i want to add mods but then i remove all my dlc weapons automaticly and i cant use them anymore (like the ones from gangstas in space) and my game just freezes when i play the mission, how do i get those files????
