PC Controller Driving

Driving with an Xbox 360 controller is very annoying. Using RT to accelerate also shoots your weapon. Can anyone make/know of a mod where you can choose which button you want to attack with while driving?
 
You can change button assignment of XBox 360 controller in game settings.
Default button assignment is awkward to use as you say.
