problem with the second mission of How the Saints saved Christmas

im on the second mission of the Christmas DLC, and im at the part where you are supposed to disable the reindeers by holding E, well i hold E and the bar goes into the middle and just dissappears, keep in mind all enemies are wiped away from the area i am i and i havent even let go of the E button, ive just been holding it all this time and i have no clue why is this happening

can anyone help?

thats actually a really great idea

If anyone is having the same problem as I did with either HtSSC or the game in general, lower your resolution as it helps or use the fast forward cheat.
