Removing Coop arrow and health bar

Hi everyone, excuse me if I have a bad english. It's not my main language.
First, I'l like to say that the mod Sandbox+ is awesome for cooping and messing around with friends who don't have the mod.

With a friend, we're chasing each other in the city, but
Problem is, we're trying to be sneaky, so we disable the entire HUD, but it's pretty hard to navigate in the city.
My request is simple: Is it possible to mod the game so we can remove the arrow in the minimap and the health bar over the friend head, and if possible, leaving the arrow in the phone (so we can localize each other approximatively) and if it can be compatible with sandbox+.

I don't think so. In SR:TT I believe all that stuff is handled through code and therefore doesn't have any exposure that could be changed through moding (and unfortunately isn't the kind of mod functionality request we're focusing on supporting). In SR4, I think this has been moved out into the UI scripting and may be something that could be modified by the community.
 
Argh, how about finding the arrow and health bar texture and changing it into transparent ? If they are displayed by a texture and not coded. I'm a total newbie on SR:TT moding, but I have some experiment on MGS modding, so, if they is some tutorial that can help me, as long as it's confirmed I can actually change the textures...
 
I suppose that is possible if you can find the bitmaps, I don't know where they are specifically. It may have unintended side effects if those bitmaps are used for other things. I think that the arrow for the players is actually the same image but rendered with different colors so if you made the arrow transparent you wouldn't have the arrow for your player on the minimap/pause map either.
 
I see, well, I'll get over it if the arrow won't show on the phone map. Well, I'm gonna look for tools to have a look on the bitmap. Any advice on what program can I use ? =)
Edit: Well, looks like there's only one tool. SR3 texture Utilites.
