Replacing SR3's title screen background with SR2's

Just a minor change, but I really like how this guy has replaced the normal background for SR3's menu with the skyline shot of Stilwater from SR2's title screen.



could somebody put something like this into an easy-to-mod package please? Or better yet, if it were possible to depict the SR3 background of Steelport in the same shade of gold, but I figure this would be more difficult.

I guess I made this topic too soon, as the creator of the video explains exactly how to do this mod.

If you still have saints row 2 actually you can also do it yourself too, its easy,
1. go to your Saints Row 2 folder and then inside go to videos , there you will find vista_final_ 1 2 3 4 5
2. copy one of them to your desktop and rename it to main_menu_bg so that it looks like main_menu_bg.bik
3.then replace it with the one that is inside saints row 3 folder / videos
4. dont forget to make backup if you mess up. that is all

so now this has turned into a request for the vista_final_# videos from the Saints Row 2 folder, since I don't have SR2 on the PC. Can somebody help, if it's possible?

Sorry War Raichu, I don't have SR2 installed at the moment.

And I wonder if it's possible to use some other .bik file?

Edit: Well the 2 I've tried didn't quite fit in with Saints Row, but they did work with no problems.

I found a friend who still had his copy installed and he sent me the files. It really was as easy as renaming them and plugging them into the folder!

Now I just need to decide which background I like best lol
