I have a slower machine, and SR:TT just runs like a dog on my machine. After extensive testing, the one thing I can't alter in the options (or in the ini) is the view display distance. Now, I noticed in SR:TT you can see stuff WAY far away (buildings, etc) that are not neccesary to play the game. In GTA IV The view distance in a framerate killer as well, but, well that can be changed.
So my question is, could someone make a mod with the view distances shorten so that stuff far away enough that they dont affect gameplay/missions are not shown so I can play this game at more than 18 frames per second?
If you don't want to do that, if you could just extract the proper file I need to alter, then upload them I could modify them myself with Notepad++/Hex Editor,
or if , last case your not willing to do any of the above, could you point me to what files I need to alter and what tools I need?
