Retrieve Matt Miller screen freeze

I just got to end of the "Retrieve Matt Miller" mission and my game is stuck in the load screen (the screen with the slide show and the music). I watched a short cut-scene where the Mech Suit grabs Matt Miller to escape the prison, leaps from the platform and that's as far as I get. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I do have a legitimate game bought through Steam.

Update: I replayed the Matt Miller Mission and was able to complete it without any issues.
I'm guessing it must have been a problem on my end and not the game. I did notice as I was getting near the end of the mission, the frame rate on my computer dropped substantially due to low memory (it's not the greatest computer). I'm assuming low memory can cause the game to "lock up" and fail to download the next scene.

For better lag free gameplay, you can do several things which I personally have to make SR4 run smoothly on my laptop with very low specs.

First of all, set your resolution to around 640x400 and 1280x600 and I personally prefer windowed. Hope you dont mind smallish screens.

Next, change all your presets to low and turn off shadows.

The last thing you can do is go to system properties > advanced system settings > when you click this you should automatically have selected "Advanced" then change your visual settings to "Best performance" after that, apply settings, close control panel and restart the game.
