Roller bot spawning problem

Mainly a problem in the mission "Kinzie Gambit" is when on rooftops rollerbots will simply pop into existence right over my head, while that alone is not a major issue the real problem is when walking up the stairways on the roof top where the rollerbots will try to spawn on top of me which will result in the bot clipping horribly with the stairway and slowly crushing my character to death with no way to get out of it.

Is it possible to have roller bots not try to spawn when you are on higher elevations?
 
This was happening to me during that mission as well but I thought it was just random but i guess it isn't.
 
Yup, happened to me too. It's dead on drop when you step out of the Hideout. Not actually Killing when it drops I mean it just happens to have very good accuracy to hit your character when it drops.

Similar issue as well with the staircase. It happens to trap your character if you're near an AC unit on the, roof causing you to Ragdoll between the Bot and AC unit. Happened to me when I was taking cover behind one of those ACs.
 
My character ragdolled for a minute or two when I was on the staircase. It was really annoying. And when I finally managed to destroy the bot another one spawned on top of me!
 
I've had one of those spawn right on my character a lot, once while I was up in the air (pretty high) and it knocked me flying in ragdoll with the prompt to 'Recover' but recovering didn't work so I fell in slow motion to the ground. It took nearly a full minute lol
