[SOLVED] How do I install mods?

As you can probably guess, I'm sorta new to modding Saints Row...

I've been searching the forums for about 2 hours now but cannot find any clear way to install mods.

Could someone help me?
 
It's simple, most of the mods u install it by copying the file that came from the mod, and paste it to your install folder. but sometimes, there are some mods that u install with different way, but dont worry, there should be a note about how to install it in the mod's file
 
I tried that with Sandbox + but for some odd reason none of the mods features are active. (Thus leading me to believe there was something I did wrong)
 
If the sandbox+ are working in your game, could u try this feature called "Carry Homie Over Shoulder" by pressing R + SEMICOLON , everytime i tried that, its working and something pops up and says "Carry homie over shoulder ENABLED" problem is, my homie's always dismissed when i carry him/her over shoulder, and when i try to recruit him/her again, its not working, unless i recruit another saint, and when i press the button ( R + Semicolon) again, it keep saying "You Need At Least One Follower", if that works for u, could u tell me how do u turn off the carry homie over shoulder?
