Splitting Video settings?

i would have looked around if anyone else had the same thoughts as myself, but after some futile attempts, i gave up trying to think of the perfect words to search for :p

anyways.

i'm starting to get tired of the Post Processing setting combining Depth of Field, Motion Blur, and High Dynamic Range.

i really dislike how games are just merging many of these all together lately. 'oh well if a little bit of blurry is good a lotta blurry is better'. ugh.

so, just thinking out loud, that i'd like to be able to split these, so i can have them separately controlled. as HDR is great, DoF i is useful (provided it's quick to respond), and Motion Blur is okay (provided it's strength is very low, a little bit of blurring adds accentuation to the game, the usual 'whoosh blurry screen' is not).

i still haven't gone poking around in the data yet, but i have a feeling this might be an area we can't do much about changing, unlike interface meshes and mapping.

If you're looking for a mod to do away with the Simulations blur, fade, pixelation....junk...crap. There are some on here. Or if you have the Tweak_Table.xtbl file in your Saints Row 4 installation directory, open with a text editor, (Notepad ++ is ideal for this, and it's free), look for the line referencing "Glitch_Effect_Lifetime". The default value is 1000. Change it to 0. Now you won't get that pixeling during your missions.

I can't recall who posted that info. originally. "IdolNinja", "Shitface"??? It was one of those 2. So all thanks should go to them if in fact that is the info. you were hunting for.

i've already gotten rid of 99% of the distortion effects ;)

but i was talking about the Video Options.
the Post Processing Option includes HDR, Motion Blur, and DoF all in one setting. i don't like them all being at the same level, so thinking out loud about being able to split them. so i can have each separately set on/off and Strength level.

edit:
here's what i'm talking about.

i can't even stand playing the game with Post Processing set above low. because some of the effects are horrible('whoosh blurry screen so real') above that, and some are horrible this low.
