So I started messing around with this last night and made SOME progress, but not a lot. I am working on a few little weapon textures to make things sharper or cooler looking. I've made a sleek black reskin of the T3K and AR55, I also took the minigun and removed the star on it and made brand new and much crisper specular maps for it. Here's where I hit a brick wall though... The minigun took the retexture just fine, I was able to update the ASM and what not with the new files, but for some reason the AR and T3K both loaded up with extremely low res textures found in the preload file. However the Minigun loaded up with its new fancy texture... anyone have any suggestions?
SUPER EDIT: I have deleted all previous shots to bring you images of the weapons with new textures fully working, with normal maps, and speculars, and all that jazz.
And here's the Lucha Launcher with no stars, I'm not sure why I wanted to remove the stars, but I think its because they seem superfulous.
Also, b-b-b-b-boooonus. I remember people discussing STAG needing a pistol, so I retextured the stun gun for kicks, I think it turned out pretty well. Does anyone know if there is a way to like, set up a duplicate weapon that would pull a separate texture file? Right now this is still just the stun gun, but I'm super proud of it.
