SPOILERS Ultor Corporation

will they be making more of an impact here than in sr3? ever since they merged with the saints, i was hoping they would play a significant role in the story. the little cameos were nice, but i wish there was more of them.

*edit: shoot maybe i should have put a spoiler tag in the title...

oh nice! looks like a masako trooper. i missed those guys.

kinda weird why the boss(?) is holding one at gunpoint though... i thought ultor and the saints merged into one entity... i mean i would think the saints would be able to have them at their disposal. maybe something happened between them?

or maybe its a virtual world simulation of the past? can't wait to find out.

edit: oh wait that's not the boss. but still, asha odekar is a saint too, right? maybe this is before she joins? guess i'll find out when i play.

According to the gameplay demos from E3, she's MI6.
However, that doesn't mean she can't join the Saints as the game progresses.

Why can't IdolNinja give out story details as long as he marks them as spoilers? NDA, I assume? (I wouldn't blame Volition.)

You sure like to ask a lot of questions that have obvious answers.

Spoilers and NDA, I'd assume. That and he's not an ass. Spoiling the entire bloody world on the upcoming fun twists and details of an unreleased game, half a year before release (give or take) is a dick move, and also would be horrible for the whole modding relationship. They invite him there to play, he gets to talk to them, manages to negotiate a major coup in modding history, and then returns the favour by spoiling all the details of the game to the internet (and naturally ALL the internet, you know how stuff spreads)?
Major dick move, and even ignoring NDA breaches (which he could be sued over you know) it's a hell of a way to burn bridges.

Just try not to explode from the effort of containing all that "Oooh, wait until you see X, and the cool twist when the stuff happens!" Idolninja! :p

I'm gonna assume that the SR universe is no longer connected to Red Faction since Nordic own the rights to the latter. Else Ultor would've inevitably broken away and resumed their imperialistic ways.

It's a real shame that THQ sunk the Red Faction franchise by making a linear horror shooter rather another kick ass sandbox game like Guerilla.
