Use of SR screenshots

Hi there,

I hope I'm not totally wrong with my question here. ^^
Saints Row 3 und 4 was/is a lot of fun and I like both games. Well, now I would like to know Volitions attitude of using screenshots made from Saints Row. I know about a question about Lets Plays asked on steam forum, IdolNinja has answered: "We love seeing our fans doing Saints Row videos, whether they monetize them or not."
Beside this I haven't found any statement about using material (screenshots, videos) from Saints Row outside the game.

I would like to make some visual novels based on screenshots from SR 3 and 4 but I don't want to do this without the permission to use graphics/art from this games. Well this novels would be made for free with credits to Saints Row of course.

It's perfectly okay as long as it's free and clearly stated as unofficial.
