bump, loved it for SRTT need it for IV 
I too would love to have this working again.
control_schemes.xtbl is the file that causes the freeze at the loading screen.
Without this file copied into the folder the game starts but 1st person driving only works when you press the left trigger and drive reverse all the time.
Also the new SR4 cars dont work they give a black screen that is locked, like if you are looking up the ceiling of the car.
