So I started trying to tweak the semi-auto and pump shotguns today. I like the super knockback upgrade of the pump shotgun, but also love the semi-auto Big Game Hunt costumes.
I tried to add the Super Knockback upgrade to the semi-auto shotgun, but after some experimentation I was only able to get it and the Full-Auto upgrades to show at the same time by removing one of the other upgrades (And yes, they both worked, full auto shotgun knocking cars and everything back is awesome as hell)
How can I add an upgrade to another weapon without sacrificing something else, in other words? I figured it was a UI thing but I can't seem to find what I need in the UI xtbls.
Also when I hit a brick wall trying to figure this out, I tried to assign the Big Game Hunt costume to the pump shotgun, which succeeded at first except I wasn't able to get the two non-default weapon skins to show up in the pump shotgun area. I tried treating the new entries for the costume in weapon_costumes.xtbl and weapon_skins.xtbl as new skins altogether, but that resulted in missing meshes for the gun, although I didn't alter the mesh entries at all. So I guess that's another object of interest. I did notice you guys explained what each field does in the entries at the bottom of the files, but I still didn't quite get it.
