Weapons.xtbl questions.........

Hello again all;

I've been messing around with the weapons.xtbl file and I'm having issues trying to adjust the file properly. Although I have no issue changing parameters, what I'm having trouble grasping is how to make certain changes work in the game:

• I've been attempting to disable or slow the pace of weapon overheats and reducing the numbers to zero in the overheat section of the file produces no result.
• Funny enough, adjusting the max power of certain weapons works but not consistantly
• Attempting to change bullet types or firing styles (single, auto, etc.) also sometimes works.

Does anyone have a FAQ they could post in the How-to section for modding weapons??

For the overheat you shoul edit weapon upgrades xbtl too, or they will be ineffective. I made a mod that remove overheat from stag and cyber weapons here: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/a-tough-city-some-weapons-modifications.993/

How can I move the Cyber buster from special category to explosive category?

I may be wrong, but search for the category the Cyber Buster is in, then change it.
Then again, I'm not sure...

In wich file are the categories ?

Does someone know how can I make an weapon permanent?
I know there's a mod for it, but I wish only to make the minigun a permanent weapon. How could I do it?
