What Happens To Old Mod Request Threads?

There are a lot of old mod request threads, and most of them request mods require tools we didn't have. What's going to happen to these threads when we do get the tools to do what they require?
 
They are going to sit there until/if a modder decides to work on it. Simple, really.

You're talking to the guy who read every single post on every single Saints Row forum looking for bugs to fix and interesting ideas to mod for SR2. :P
