When can we start making our own models for the Game?

I really want some new weapons in the game new character models? and more clothes to put on well i jsut wanted to hear if anyone has gotten any closer to make some new models for the game?

We will start as soon as someone releases a programme to edit models.

It probably didn't happen at all during SR2 modding time, so don't get yourself hyped about SR3 either.
