Boss: Seriously, you'll turn Stanfield into a radioactive wasteland, just to be an asshole!?
Maero: The clock is ticking. Good luck. (Hangs up)
Boss: Where's Pierce!?
- Go to Burns Hill Reactors
Cutscene:
Pierce and Gat meet The Boss at the nuke plant.
Pierce: What's the emergency?
Boss: If we don't get in there and stop the meltdown, we could lose another timeline.
Gat: I got my AR200 SAW locked and loaded.
Boss: We don't want to risk blowing ourselves up either.
Pierce: We've got pick a fist fight with the Brotherhood!?
Boss: Hope you've been hitting the gym Pierce.
Gat: This is gonna be fun.
Gat throws the rifle on the ground as he and the Boss walk away from a dumbfounded Pierce.
Gameplay:
The Boss, Gat, and Pierce are stood at the main gate to the nuke plant.
- Clear a path to the Main Tower
Pierce: This ain't exactly what I had in mind for my return to the Saints.
Boss: Come on Pierce, we've dealt with worse.
Gat: Maybe you and me, but this Pierce ain't from our timeline.
Boss: Oh shit, I forgot about that. So he won't remember the Zin Wardens then?
Pierce: The what?
Gat: Good times.
Pierce: You two really are crazy!
- Enter the Main Cooling Tower through the Main Doors
Gat: Time to shut this place down!
- Clear a path to the Reactor Console Room
Boss: Man, I forgot how much fun it can be to just beat enemies to death with my bare fists.
Gat: That's how they did it before guns were invented.
Pierce: You two need therapy.
Gat: I'd say this is therapeutic enough for us.
Boss: Agreed.
- Enter the Console Room
Pierce: Who's gonna hack into this thing?
Gat: Don't worry. I got this. You two cover me.
Pierce: Well, it was nice knowing you.
Boss: Have a little faith.
- Defend the Console Room while Gat stops the Meltdown
Pierce: Is that a data drive?
Gat: What, you thought I was actually gonna hack this thing?
Kinzie (Speakers): Ok I'm in the system.
Pierce: (Relieved) Oh, thank god.
Boss: See, I told you to have a little faith.
Kinzie (Speakers): Just hold them off a little longer.
- Defend the Console Room for 30 seconds
Kinzie (Speakers): Ok, you're good.
Boss: Now where's Maero?
Cutscene:
The Boss, Pierce, and Gat hear a revving noise and all look out the window into the Hideout Floor as Maero's Atlasbreaker bursts through a Shutter Door into the room and performs a few full circle powerslides while throwing flashbangs before ramming through one of the outer walls to escape. The Boss and Pierce get caught by the flashbangs, but Gat uses his arm to block the flash.
Gat: Come on, let's chase him down!
Gat runs away while the Boss and Pierce stumble around.
Gameplay:
The Boss and Pierce are stood on the Hideout Floor.
- Leave through the Hole in the Wall
Pierce: We'll never catch up with him.
Gat pulls up in a Brotherhood Alaskan.
Gat: Get in, quick!
Fade out, then fade in with the Boss and Pierce in Gat's Alaskan.
Gat: Keep the Brotherhood off our ass!
- Defend the Vehicle while Gat catches up to Maero
Pierce: He's heading for the Bridge to Henry Steel Mills!
Boss: That bridge is still getting rebuilt!
Gat: Then he's trapped.
Cutscene:
As Maero speeds across the Bridge, he notices the Saints approaching and just smiles.
Boss: You've got nowhere to run, asshole!
Just then, an Oppressor flies into view.
Pierce: What the...
They notice that Jessica is the one flying it.
Gat: There's no fucking way.
Maero's truck launches off the ramp, then in slow-motion we watch as Maero bails out of the truck and grabs onto one of the Oppressor's skids. Gat then screeches to a halt tilting over the edge of the ramp.
Pierce: I don't fuckin' believe it!
Maero: Sorry Saints, but we've got our own plans to take care of. Nice work stopping the meltdown though!
Jessica flies them away.
Gat: Was that his attempt at sarcasm?
Pierce: He's been acting very unusual.
Boss: Maybe Carlos was onto something. I'll check in with him once he's recovered.
