Saints Row 3\4\Remastered mesh import addon for Blender

I'm not sure if this is an error of some kind or not but it would seem some characters might be importing with incorrect bone positions. I haven't tested this with anyone else yet, but Viola's eye bones are in the wrong position as seen here:

Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the plugin importing this?

Yeah, that's cause the script loads the default head rig, rather than the one that belong to the head morph. There's a bunch of things i've been meaning to fix, but haven't got around doing it yet.

Hello there, sorry to bother you, I am new in here and I want to ask is there any way to convert the str2_pc file into .ccmesh?

I already done the steps and now the only problem I face is just to convert it to .ccmesh

you need to extract str2_pc with thomasjepp, inside it contains ccmesh and other files
if I may ask, the Stream2 one or ExtractPackFile one?

I tried two of it but when I see the folder of where my SRTTR model extracted, it is empty, but it works for the original Saints Row The Third models

Another update, I still use the Saints Row The Third original model...but not the Saints Row The Third Remastered, for the SRTTR, I only manage to extract it to str2_pc, not ccmesh

And...there is another problem...it become like this...

ExtractPackFile, but if you want to make it easier, just use "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfileGUI.exe"

I only found this thread specifically due to having the same issue as HazardStorms is. Whenever i try to drag a str2_pc file onto "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfile.exe" it just makes a folder in the same location as my str2.pc file but that new folder is empty

To explain my process, please do correct me if im doing a misstep somewhere
1. I find the vpp_pc file i want to extract inside SRTTR cache folder. Im using "characters.vpp_pc" as an example.
2. I use "SRTTR Extracting Tool" to extract the initial cache files
3. I then navigate to the model str2_pc file for example "saints_female_viola.str2_pc" and drag it onto the "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfile.exe"
I get a folder named the same as my file.
4. Open said folder, folder is empty.
IGNORE ALL I JUST SAID!
And as i finish writing this i realize i have done it incorrectly this entire time.
The same SRTTR program used to extract those vpp_pc files from the remastered game works wonders for extracting the character models, I was incorrectly doing it on the characters_high cache files before but i suspect now that might mostly contain textures.
This is something actually said on the page but i wasnt sure if it was able to extract ccmeshes due to the above misstep of using _high instead of the default characters vpp_pc

However this makes me wonder, Where exactly is the character models for the boss if anyone know? I couldnt help but notice as i started SRTTR that the boss models and textures seem to barely been touched up for the remaster which makes us stand out heavily compared to so many other characters who got some amazing glow ups.

So Hazard storm for yours and my case, Try the following
1. In SRTTR cache folder, Find and copy Characters to your SRTTR Extracting Tool folder and extract it.
2. Inside the characters folder, Find the character you want to extract the ccmesh of. Copy it to the Tool folder like you did for characters.
3. Now extract this str2_pc file just like you did the vpp_pc file for the characters folder.

Inside the new folder that gets made for that str2_pc file there is now a ccmesh in it.

So all things said and done, is it currently impossible to convert the adjusted model back into ccmesh in order to put it back into SRTTR?

The remaster, correct. For the original, you can, but it's a much more involved process, and you'd need to ask others more versed in interconnected nature of SRTT's file structures about how to do it. @Admixon has managed to swap in custom models for SRTT, for example. And there's another modder (who I don't recall off hand) who has managed to port a variety of SR4's clothing and hairstyles into SRTT.

But for SRTTR, you're mostly SOL. You can use SpecialK to do some texture changes, if that's what you're trying to do.
