I am attempting to remodel the cumnia magnum skin for the 45. fletcher in saints row 4. converting the files works fine, however when I attempt to package them I get the following error.
CFILE ERROR: reading past end of file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Saints Row...
maybe in a future update. I am still learning how to full use the sdk so I will have to do the textures myself too for now. however if he is okay with it, I may work with him for an update to the mod someday.
I wouldn't know how to change the amount, but you can change the vehicle, vehicle variant, and model for saints backup. the entries are in the homies.xbtl file.
I have modded homies in both srtt and sr4 and I can answer these questions for you.
as for your first question you can reference the character field in the character.xtbl file.
the flags I'm not sure about, however I would ask hoeward or idolninja if it is a big part of your mod.
the answer to...
okay so I am working on replacing the quickshot pistol with a 44. magnum from fallout 3, problem is the mesh is on multiple parts and I keep getting a no mesh data to join error in blender when I attempt to join the mesh, for now I will go ahead and rig what I can so I can have a test version up.
**please note that so far there is no download is this isn't too far into development yet. a download will come once more than the pool noodle has been added.**
Bios' Weapon of Gaming Mod will make use of the SDK by bringing the community a mod with multiple model edits.
for more detail on what...
well it works now I only have two issues. 1.i haven't finished the model or textured it so right now it looks like a blue pool noodle, and 2.the boss holds it sideways during an attack and holds it halfway up when idle. either way I can most likely fix number 2 by myself. thank you for your help.
let me just say I have always wanted this to happen. for that reason I will get this. the though of musical numbers in saints row seems kind of strange, but getting to play as johnny gat and kill demons, just yes.
right now I have gotten a little further than when I posted this. now my problem is, the model appears but it floats in the air to the right of the boss. I am using a test build of a mod I am working on. however all that is missing is a more detailed model and textures. also, if fixing this...
okay I almost got this figured out, only problem is I am trying to add a mesh to the shotgun with the blender method but cannot figure out how to join it. I get the no mesh data to join error but I cannot find any fixes on the internet.
