Thats was expected. They simply don`t wanna support modding after broke the game with EGS release. Same as with 3rd remaster.

If you want kill your game progress,use dirty cheats lol You can`t even manualy save game lol In 3th and 4th you just don`t get autosave,now you don`t have nothing lol Nice work Violition lol

Looks like they don`t really listen community as was when IdolNinja was alive. But no info about EGS in Steam. Ofc they just don`t say about that. But with out normal modding soft workshop would never happen.

They broke mods on 3rd and 4th SR because of stupid EGS,so i fear that EGS still will be in steam version. We will see.

First dlc made facepalm really. And again nothing about modding lol Looks like they really fear that modmakers would fix all what they didn`t wanted to make.

Not only EGS.

They tried somehow to unlock 60 fps but failed. Steam version is realy unstable now. GoG works perfect with GOTR. Still can have crashes sadly. So just save more often to not loose progress.

Had the same on steam version. Went to offline version from GoG and that hepled.
