It's just like me to forget to post about this until today. Oops!

Games Done Quick is a bi-annual charity gaming marathon. Volunteers play games at incredible speed ("Speedrunning") for entertainment. The event is streamed live online, non-stop, and all donations go directly to the charity. This is the winter event, with a summer event starting around July.

Been watching the shit out of it. TASbot was amazeballs, Tetris was... Holy shit. Just wow. Caught the Mischief Makers marriage proposal too, and the Megaman block was my personal favorite. 4way Megaman X race was great, I can't believe the amount of comeback Caleb made. They've made quite a bit for Prevent Cancer, but I hope it can break a million. That's still the best part of it all though.

I appreciate GDQ being mostly family friendly, but we need Saints Row speedruns... Ok, I mainly just want an excuse to copy pasterino DILDO% HYPE but still, I'd be down.

It's true, I'd love to see some SR action in there. For whatever reason, I don't think it's a highly popular series to speedrun, but I think there are some runs out there. They've had GTA games at the marathons, so there should be no problem with the content.
