All New Character Customization

Have you considered creating a Leopard spotted skin ?

Sorry it took some time to do this skin. I've been torn between working on this mod and playing around with SR2, SR2 is winning for the moment. I hope you like the leopard skin, I've based it on cheetara from the Thundercats.

Thank you very much there bro for another one of your fine works of quality artistry.
I like the way you have the pattern evenly spaced and contoured accenting the curves of the figure.

Excellent work and looking forward to seeing more.:D

Hi JediDave,

Thank you for this mod and your work on creating the custom skins. :)

I was thrilled when I got the tiger skin to work. (I put the "Default female diffuse.str2_pc" file into the "Your_Mods_Here" folder, ran the compile and put that file where it was supposed to go.)

I tried getting it to work for males by renaming the file. Err, yeah, that doesn't work. (I tell you this to give you a laugh and let you know how much I know about modding SR:TT)

I also tried the instructions for mixing the tiger skin with Porno and Murder, but that either gives me the tiger skin only, or a locked up game, depending on which "Default female diffuse.str2_pc" I use. I'm not sure how to use both of those files at once, as things have to be in the root of that folder to load. (I've built a lot of these trying to get this to work.)

I'm willing to spend some time working on this, but I'm a little clueless. I was wondering if you might be able to help me get these two mods to play together, or point me at some documentation that might help me do the same?

Again, thanks a bunch for this. I think it's pretty dang cool. :D

If you're dealing with the file Default female diffuse.str2_pc loose in your game's root directory, then every time you edit it, replace it, or remove it, you need to update the corresponding .asm_pc, which in this case should be customize_player.asm_pc.

If you're using Porno & Murder, it will have it's own .asm_pc along with the texture files (and some .xtbl's? I don't recall off-hand).

When you have the body texture files you want to use in the root, then you just need to update customize_player.asm_pc.
(NOTE: different files may have different .asm_pc's associated with them. customize_player.asm_pc deals with all the .str2_pc's Porno & Murder use; the default diffuse, and the different racial/gendered body base skins)

You can simply drag-and-drop it on to Gibbed.SaintsRow3.UpdateASM.exe, from Gibbed Tools,
-OR-
You can use gameqube's ASM Updater Tool, which simplifies that process (more user-friendly), but requires that you put the tool's folder where the readme tells you to. It will update *all* .asm_pc's in your root for you, and kind of walks you through what it's doing, and what files are being indexed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This may not work (I recently had trouble with this mod + loose .str2_pc's + customize_player.asm_pc myself), but if it doesn't I have a workaround should you need it. :)

I really wish I could find a more anarchist/ feminist set of tattoos, to me, that would be the best. It would be great if the game came with more tattoo options than you ever need, I always love being confused by too many options, it means you have them.

You could always try it yourself.
It's just using a couple extractor tools, then either Photoshop or GIMP with a .dds plug-in, but if you don't have any experience with graphic work, I imagine it could be pretty tough. Like me + coding stuff. All those numbers...

I've been always meaning to do my own tattoos, but often run in to a lack of original/interesting stuff to do that I like.

The only reason I signed up to Pinterest was to get a stream of tattoo designs & inspirations for that kinda stuff.

PM me ones you like. (I don't wanna clog up JediDave's release thread with an off-topic conversation.)
Preferably on Steam, 'cause I'm not on here too much, but I'm always on Steam if I'm using my computer at all these days, usually in this site's chat room ("Gentlemen of Steelport").

I got a problem:
When I start the game, i click on continue and the game kicks me.
When I click on Load Game, I get redirected to a loading screen, as usual, and in a couple of seconds the music stops but the pictures are still changing and the SRTT icon keeps flashing. Thanks for the help anyways.

What mods do you have installed?
Did you follow their installation instructions exactly?
What order did you install them in?

I see you've posted several times in other threads and it appeared that everything was working before; when did the problem start happening, after installing this mod?

Did you update your .ASM_PC files correctly?
