Opaque Eyes: Complete
Real Eyes: Still working on the texture.

Any tips or advice and suggestions would be appreciated. Here's a concept image:

Update 8/9/13: After some digging around I was able to find the eyes inside customize_character.asm and with some help from Lady Lamprey the first test of the mod was a success.

This won't be the final texture of the mod, it is just a prototype.

Started work on an "official" alternate texture for the eyes.

Update 8/9/13: I made some cyborg/anime/opaque type of eyes that ended up working out pretty well here.

Update 10/9/13: Cat eyes swapped to yellow to remind me more of cats. More colors for the opaque set added. Only 4 more to go

It's possible to do I think, but I may have a problem if SR4 uses a singular texture that applies to both eyes( Either both eyes must be glass/modded eyes, or not at all). Hoping the game allows asymmetry here :/

And wow, I can't believe I remember this movie :D

Update: I took a screen grab of the DDS file that contains the eye texture and it is in fact using only one texture for both eyes. :(

You may be able to do it via the facial "Features". If I remember correctly some of them can modify the eyes in an asymmetric way.

I'll definitely look into that.

Yeah, anything "placed" on the body, like face paint, tattoos, and features, are placed on the body's "Default male/female diffuse" .str2_pc's .DDS file.

Because of that, increasing texture size will just expand their coverage of the "Default male/female diffuse" texture, but only downwards and to the right.

However, you can expand it up and left if you change its placements coordinates (like move it to 1:1, then make it gigantic, right or down, and even cover the whole damn body if you want).

The coordinates are likely all in customization_compositing.xtbl, with the tattoos, you just have to know the name of the texture (the .cvbm/.gvbm, but search without the extension), and it'll be in that <Composite_Layer>.

In my sig-linked tutorial (and maybe more in that thread's link to the original "Ask Volition!" thread), you can change what textures they share and potentially give them all their own unique texture.
