Bahamut suit ( avatar matt miller )

Hi ,

today I decided to start modding on sr3. I decided to try to embody the avatar of deckers.die. I managed to put it into the shop planet saint, but it's reallly huge and ... a little strange, as if it wasn't complete, dense.

P.S : on the screen, I put the cheat "sotiny" ...
I take it in customization_items. Maybe there is something else to modify for get the real avatar.
  • I need help to make it more like the real one, pliz.
  • How can I reduce the size ? / adapt the view such as in the mission
  • Do you know the name of the blade use into the fight against the boss ?

the name of the blade is "Avatar_sword" without the quotes.. it is all the way at the top of the weapons.xtbl file. i tried making it playable but i failed. it doesn't draw properly and it looks like it's aiming like a gun but the blade doesn't show. i hope you make a good job at this and make the bahamut playable just like it is in the missions. good luck
 
I find the sword where you said, but it's just the data, there is no reference to the mesh, except for the effects. I modified it to make the sword more playable. First I made ​​a cheat to add the sword, then I made a melee weapon and I added it in the store.

But as you said, there was a problem for view it.
After I looked in the mission m16 (sr3_city_0, m16_modal ), it's the mission deckers.die
I found some mesh... but it was the effects.
And for the sword and player as bahamut, they just say add avatar_sword, and change the player.

Then I looked in customize_item, items, preload_items but I wasn't able to find the mesh of the sword :s
 
i have no idea how you could possible solve it. i'm no expert at saints row modding lol. but that was all i found
 
I found data about mesh item in item_3D.
For the avatar_sword there isn't character_mesh, just mesh, maybe that's why it doesn't appear on player.
 
i hope you'll find a way to make it properly equipable. i wouldn't got as far as you do now
