Installing them in the mods folder should do, you have a different version than gog or steam?

Im using the Game of the Century version. You know the one with all the Dlc and pre order stuff in one package

I got it from a retailer,like a physical copy when it came out years ago

All physical copies activate on Steam. There is no standalone pc version. You probably bought or downloaded pirated version.

These only work for steam or gog, buy one of those if you wanna use them
