can i run old save files that i made before i setup GOTR after i installed GOTR?

explanation if you cant understand the crappy title; so i'm currently playing sr2 and i want to have fun and maybe use some of the camera mods , i also have save files that has a lot of activities done. do i have to create a new save file to use GOTR's features or no?

You don't have to start a new save file to play GOTR. You can play an older vanilla savefile with GOTR just fine, the only downside is that you will not get any of GOTR's new rewards for activities and missions you have already completed. You will only receive the new unlocks going forward.
