Can't enable XBOX360 icons with the GOTW mod, and the game still runs pretty bad with PowerTools

Well as the title says, I am unable to see Xbox360 controls on-screen, even after installing the entore GOTW mod it still shows keyboard/mouse controls. How do I enable those?

I have both PowerTools and GOTW installed and the game still has regular stuttering, I just know it's because of my specs but I want to make sure, so here they are.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits (6.1 compilation 7601)

Processor: AMD Anthlon(tm) II x2 260 Processor (2CPUs), 3.2 GHz
RAM: 4GB
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS (1GB)

The current version of my drivers is
GeForce R331 Game Ready Driver; Version 331.82
Up to date as I am aware

I don't have the SpeedUp Bug and the game does crash sometimes, but it doesn't happen on a certian part, it happens randomly, it can be a cutscene, or during regular gameplay or missions.

So any info on these things would be really apreciated.
 
Your GPU is super low end, and is your main bottleneck. Have you tried deleting the contents of your prefetch folder and rebooting yet, as outlined in the FAQ? That may help.

Onscreen 360 controls are an option that you have to manually select in the Controls and Onscreen Prompts menu. If you did select them, then chances are you didn't manually move the created files to the right place. The installer tells you where they need to go once it's finished, and doesn't automatically do it.
 
Well, I tried making a new custom patch, and still can't find the option, so I'm going to tell you how I'm doing this to make sure that I'm doing it right (probably not considering that I can't find the options).

1. I run the Create_Custom_GotR_v1.9.2.bat
2. I then press a key to continue and press P and then enter, (I assume that's how you install all mods right?)
3. I move all 3 files inside the MY_CUSTOM_PATCH folder to my SR2 main folder.

I think the mod is correctly installed because it says "Gentlemen of the Row" on the loading screens and also when I start the game it says Powered by Gentlemen.

I go to the control menu and I can see that I can customize both keyboard and gamepad controls, but there's no Onscreen Prompts menu...

Am I doing something wrong?
 
Don't press P right away. First, go into the options menus to select mods. Specifically, you need to go into the Controls and Onscreen Prompts menu to enable 360 controller icons. You do this stuff by pressing numbers and Enter. For example, a the GotR main menu, press 1, then Enter. to go to a sub menu. Press whatever number for the mod you want then press Enter. This will add an "I" before it to show that it will be installed when you actually build the patch with "P" from the main menu.
