Car tuning - adding new components.

You can't edit those _cust files since they are not actually loaded by the engine. All the customization information is stored in the binary cvtf files for each vehicle and we have no tools to edit them. Turk simply hex edited the cvtf files and flipped some values to enable the customization. What you're trying to do with swapping them in and out is not possible.

I see spawn_info_groups is completely rudimentary if it comes to loading characters, but the cars you dedicate to the groups will be driven by those groups...

At least it seemed so, but not really, my bad, should've looked more.

But Idol... could there be a chance it has something to do with the variant names?
