Change the colour of aircrafts

I'd be awesome if you could change the colour of planes and helicopters in srtt. Like change the colour of a vtol, a specter and all aircrafts.

Saints Row has historically had problems with modding in helicopter class customization. In SR2 the mechanic triggers would never activate no matter what we tried. In SRTT, attempting heli customization cycles through a bunch of menus and kicks you back to the crib or crashes the game. I'm currently trying to figure out why this happens, but it's not going to be anything that can be easily fixed.

Nope, they are classified as helicopters.

Yep. To further clarify, anything in a heliport would be a helicopter class vehicle.

How does that work anyway, if they can fly like planes?

The Hydra (VTOL plane) in GTA San Andreas has 2 models for it and if you look closely, you can spot the fraction of a second when the game replaces one with the other. If SR3 does the same with 2 models then maybe it could be possible to customize only one of them, the plane one?

its not possible cause u can't place the vtol in the airport hangar

It's an arbitrary classification by Volition, and something in their very makeup is stopping the customizing. Nothing gets replaced like GTASA.

That's not the reason at all. Simply changing classification so they are in a different garage like the hangar does nothing at all. They still have the same customization issues.
