Character Model Ripper

Hello Guys!

Firstly i wanna thank ya'll for keep this site up!

I just came here to request something like this.

There's a possible way or tool can allow me to extract my custom character from Saints Row The Third - IV
To an 3d Software can export them to other games?

I've seen out there some guy already done it with Shaundi , Pierce and Johhny Gat converted them to GTA San And..

As seen in that pic , those models were converted by a guy named @DIMASSSS

So , the point of this is , can i convert this model to other games like @DIMASSSS did?

Here's my character i want to convert.

I dont think they where exported from Saints Row deffo not SRTT or SRIV as they look totaly diffrent in terms of theyr face. Atm far as I know ther are no Plug-ins to support CMESH files extentions. I guess you could use the one mesh tool that is out and export the mesh and if thers a plug in avalible for the file type the game your trying to port it into you might be in luck, but as for doing it with your player character not sure how that would work as I dont think thers a set mesh for it as you make it your self and customise it, I dont think this could be done in a normal mesh so it must work in another way not sure how tho :)

Edit: looked at the post they look so funny as they where converted int GTA style I think it was done in the way above

Just keep and eye on the forum section named 'Tool Releases' thats where it will show up, also keep an eye out for the SDK, news will be updated on this forum and you can also find the files over at this site when theyr out
 
So , if those files can extract cmesh files . it's a possible path to make my request possible?
All this was explained in my OP :p, you would need info on how the game renders the players character model, I guess they must render as a mesh and texture in some form as they can be uploaded and shared, you would need tools for both this game and the game your porting to aswell as a 3D editing program
 
Your request is not impossible but is highly unlikely based on the current set of tools. Gat, Pierce, and Shaundi are all NPCs. There really is nothing that a player can customize about those NPCs so their mesh files are simple and easier to read. However, you are asking about reading in the player model which is much more complex than a NPC. You have the choice of gender, race, body build, and all of the sliders to take into consideration that get applied onto the base model. And that is before you even get to the clothes.

It too bad they can up-date the inauguration station so we can just toggle to T-pose the character to take screen shots, then inport the jpegs in to Blender or Max ,Maya etc or even turn off the ideal animation and even enable to toggle the degree and angle to get the best possible reference to manually model are own instead of get plugins and all that other complicated stuff just to export. but oh well with that solution some people will still have to learn how topology works. but i under stand if they can't do that kind of up date do to not having the files on hand or other reasonable reasons. but it would would be a handy modeling tool even if it's a stand alone version of the inauguration station with that idea in mind i would most definitely buy that for 40$+
