Delete Reward Vehicles (plus customize all vehicles) v3

Just wanted to chime in as I just got around to reading this forum again after a absence.

I'm using the latest compilation with this mod active and not seeing this issue here.
I too would suspect conflict with another mod you most likely forgot about.
That will make the game crash. Seen it, done it here before.
I'm running some other mods that aren't in the compilation and it can be done but I'm sure
there are combos that will cause issues.

I don't know why, but whenever I open -any- menu now after installing this mod, nothing happens except the game stops responding to my controls and I have to alt-F4 to quit. I'm not using any conflicting mods (I don't think anyway) and I installed everything correctly.

This particular mod hasn't been updated yet after compatibility was broken with the Gangstas in Space DLC. Most people are using the latest build of Gentlemen of Steelport instead that has all of the scripting mods updated and functioning correctly together. The reason is that GoS uses a batch style installer that dynamically builds and updates the asm files that are used by multiple scripting mods. You can grab the latest version of GoS from the downloads section of my site:

The nice thing about GoS is that it is completely 100% modular. If you are only interested in just this particular mod then you can have GoS build it individually (or compiled along with any other included mods so that they all work correctly.)

Oooh, neat! Thanks a lot :) +1
EDIT: I tried it with the GoS and I had the same problem. :/

Did you make absolutely certain that you first cleaned up any old mods from the root of your install folder? Especially, any files with .str2_pc and .asm_pc extensions?

Also, scripting mods like this one will only work correctly with the Steam version of the game.

AHA!!!
Yar, caught you giving out advice for pirates!!

Arrrgh..

yarrhgh.

Actually, that was the rope I was presenting to see if he would hang himself with.

Even if I were a pirate, I'm not stupid enough to answer a question like that incorrectly ;) I got it working though after I used that mod remover tool bundled with GoS, it was one of the asm files. Thanks a lot!

You really couldn't imagine the quality of pirate we get around here. Dumb as a bag of rocks, the lot of them. ;)

Glad you got it working!
