Edit gang colours, possible?

If your talking about the homies color scheme clothing and gang members. Yah. Though maybe not exactly what you want.
Look up the mod, here on this board, called GangPlusOne.
In that mod you will see two options. You can install either one or both without using the main files if you so wish.
The color change one (I like the rainbow) has some nice random colors that shw up on my gang members. I love it. No more purple.
I dunno how it looks on a male gang member, being a pervert, I made my gang all females. So it works for me.

Edit: I might have done something wrong, I put the npc_color_palette.xtbl for red in the root saints row folder, but it seemed a little unpredictable results wise, the colours seemed to change randomly when reloading the npc. Most didn't change at all. Is it a known problem with the mod or have I messed up somewhere?
I haven't modded for saints row but I had a poke around in the xtbl. The RGB values were a little baffling. I wanted black ideally so I might do a find replace with low values and see what happens.
Edit 2: I'm an idiot. I can't do find replace because the values will be different.

I dont think the color change mod in that pack above affects set npcs' like say, Shaundi or other named ones. Only
the general spawn gang members in cribs and on streets (saints).

not paid a lot of attention to that though. I use the strippers/gimps/bikers/ and a morningstar for gang members , all female.
I mixed the options in GangPlusOne with Gandalfs homies mod so I could have the cowgirls (I think a member of the hoes 'faction")
without being forced to try to complete activities I can not seem to achieve to unlock them in GangPlusONe.

encogen is the mod author he checks in pretty regular .He's the one to ask for sure. Or send him a PM (conversation on this board) message.

Yeah it was just the gang members/homies, and cars if possible. The xtbl doesn't look all that complex you'd probably understand it - it looks alot like html but the rgb values used decimals. like 0.35627... I'm guessing 1 is max.
I'll probably just stick with the purple now to be honest as it doesn't seem worth the mucking about currently, someone will probably make a mod for it sooner or later.
