Freeze Near Specific Area

Every time I go past the el Chupacabra casino and before I get to the bridge during the first mission in virtual Steelport it freezes. No idea what is going on but it seems not to like that area very much...

I would suggest that you verify content in steam. If that doesn't work, maybe nuke and reinstall?

I've nuked and reinstalled a few times to make room on my hard drive for something else. But it still seems to do it, and I don't have steam cloud enabled so...

Could it be a VRAM issue? It does this weird thing when it freezes where it jumps back and forth between the frame it froze on and some random previous frame drawn a little bit before it froze. I mean, I have a Intel graphics chipset from 2009 with 64mb of VRAM soooo yeeeeaaah....

It could be, but it is hard to say. With it happening in the same spot all the time I think either trouble reading a file or maybe a shader that isn't used in many places.

Strange. If it is having trouble loading a file, it certainly isn't because it's corrupt...

I can't remember if it was doing this before I installed the windows 10 tech preview... I do know that for some odd reason MS didn't include OpenGL support in this build. I hope to god the full release has it...

Anyway, thanks for helping me as much as you could. At least it's definitely something I've confirmed to be not working right, though I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue.

You don't have a crash dump do you? I'm curious about this, but I'm not sure what we can do if it doesn't generate a dump.
