If there is ever a fully fledged Saints Row Sequel to SRIV what do you think should happen?

I reckon that they should use the time travel to go back in time and visit famous people from years in the past. And that they could stop the Zin before they attack.
 
Stopping the Zin invasion would be interesting, but I don't think it would go down that way. I'm not sure if retconning a game is their style. Maybe showing us different timelines, with absurdist storylines, to keep it fresh and fun?

Like "Use Genghis Khan's spear to impale Rasputin, while escaping on DaVinci's flying machine."

Maybe a weird Red Faction/Saints Row crossover?

I said at the end of SRIV: "Well, that's the end of the series. There's nothing else now, except to make it a Spore space conquering type game.".

Then "Gat Out of Hell" was announced.

I'm so impressed by their ability to adapt, while also keeping me interested.
 
I like Kinzie. I disliked her in saints Row 3, but I found her funny in Saints Row 4.
 
In response to the poll, I'd like to (not surprisingly) see Shaundi the most in Saints Row V, provided Volition will make a fully-fledged sequel to Saints Row IV, which I really hope they do. I never wanna have to say goodbye to my waifu.
 
What would I want for SR5?
Simple.
Stick to the three "gangs" to take out formula,but this time it's three alien races on a large alien world (or an Earthlike world with two inhabited moons). This gives them free license to make all new vehicles,new clothing,new or enhanced powers,new Homies,and they can actually continue where SR4 leaves off. Sure, they could do the time travel thing,but why go backwards when you can go forward and keep pushing the envelope. We do need a new home after all. Heck, you could even free EVERYONE in the simulation (since some are aliens) on an uninhabited world and have the Boss be the one to unite these races as one unified world....(no more far fetched than superpowers or becoming President) I can think of quite a bit I imagine, that could keep SR going.
