Game crashes while previewing outfit(s)

I'd normally just take this to the Steam forums, but I think it might be an issue on my end resulting from being an idiot with mods, so I figured that I might get help here.

I played the game, presumably when I saved the outfit, with an earlier version of GoS. I don't think I had any other mods installed, and that it was just the simple, co-op friendly version. The outfit may have used added colors, I'm not sure, but I'm fairly sure that it used default, vanilla game clothing (Killbane mask, one of the suit+tie tops, nothing added by mods or DLC).

After uninstalling SR3 (after properly removing GoS) and reinstalling again, I noticed that every time I moused over that saved outfit, my client would freeze before loading the preview image, stop responding, and then close to the desktop. I suppose I could just... never hover my mouse over that outfit while going through my other ones, but that's tedious, and I'd like to solve this.

I browsed through all the individual clothing pieces in my wardrobe, and none of them cause the crash, but the saved outfit does without fail. After reinstalling GoS, the saved outfit still causes a crash. I also can't delete it in game, as that still loads the preview and etc.

Are you certain that you didn't originally choose the extra clothing options when playing before and creating that save? It's called "New Clothing for Sale" in the GoS menu. If one of your outfits has a piece of that new clothing as part of it then it would cause crashing like that if you no longer have it installed.

Otherwise it's save corruption and there isn't anything anyone can do about that.

EDIT:
It's one of the core mods so would have been included by default. It's probably some kind of weird save corruption then.
 
I'm almost positive that I used the the default patch both times, but it couldn't hurt to try again with other options.


Or not. Darn. I don't suppose there's some kind of tool that I could use to remove it from my save? Thanks for clearing it up for me though.
